Graphic but really drives home the point (no pun intended) what Jesus did for us through his suffering and dying on the cross. But this picture only shows the physical suffering. I know how I feel when I have done something wrong. How it stays on my conscience until the sin is forgiven and out of my life. All of those feeling of guilt for all of humanity past, present, and future were on the mind of Jesus during his emotional suffering on the cross. That is a huge burden to bear…

    • Amen, brother. It’s beyond comprehension, how deeply He knows and loves us..then and now. I wasn’t originally going for such a graphic picture, but when I saw that one, I felt it was right. And to think, in reality, He was unrecognizable. This picture doesn’t even show the half of it. What He went through for us keeps me in constant awe.

Always wonderful to hear from you.

  2. How humbling to think that (we) were the joy that was set before Him as He hung upon that cross. We who at times forget just how much He endured that we may always be with Him!

Thoughts? I'd love to hear them. :)
