I don’t have much time this morning to give you a proper update, but Matt will have surgery again today. Please be prayin! Things are looking up, friends! God is so, SO good!

Until later…

  3. Hi everyone,

Matt is out of surgery and doing well. They were able to flush out stones in the duct between the gallbladder and pancreas (I think it was called a duct), and are hoping that will do the trick! He still has the feeding tube in, just in case. But he will try eating jello and drinking juice tonight. They’re hoping he can go home from the hospital on Friday..he’s been there since Sunday this time. Thanks for the prayers today, everyone!

  4. I’ll for sure keep him in prayer

    • Thanks very much! I really appreciate it.

Here’s another update for anyone reading/keeping up on the comments:

Matt had a really rough night last night post surgery after they had him try the jello. The pain was excruciating. He told mom the pain meds weren’t even touching the pain. They asked him if he wanted to try to eat again today and he said no, he wants to wait till the lipase count goes down. He had a rough afternoon again today and is hopefully sleeping well tonight. They will keep him there in the hospital until they are absolutely sure everything is working and he’s able to eat. So now they’re thinking he will be there through the weekend. Continued prayers are always appreciated!

Thoughts? I'd love to hear them. :)
